Knights - A Tribute to Black Sabbath
Genre: Metal/Rock
Band Website: N/A
Black Sabbath, the band that single handedly invented the
genre of Heavy Metal has endured like no other group for
four decades.
Four musicians from the hard, industrial area of Birmingham,
England, (Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill
Ward) upon leaving their rehearsal studio in 1969, noticed
the film Black Sabbath starring Boris Karloff playing in the
theater across the street. They remarked how unusual it was
that people had lined up around the block, literally willing
to pay to be scared to death and thus Black Sabbath the band
was born. No other band has achieved the same level of
legendary status than Black Sabbath. From Rock to Grunge to
Punk to Death and Speed Metal and even Pop, their influence
is undeniable.
Black Sabbath remains the most pivotal and iconic band of
all time in Hard Rock and Metal. Neon Knights, a tribute to
Sabbath features select versions from artists from around
the world paying homage to the great Metal Gods.
