For the Coca-Cola generation of the eighties, the sound of her voice connected with many memories: ‚'First Time' gave Robin Beck a worldwide hit. Other hits included "Save Up" followed by "All Your Tears", "Tears in The Rain" and "Won't Lose Any Sleep" off her first album, "Trouble", produced by Desmond Child (Ricki Martin, Cher, Michael Bolton, Bonnie Tyler, Aerosmith). After that it became quiet around Robin - until now. Robin Beck's voice can take away one's breath. Passion, energy, feeling - her powerful performances were recognizable by the time she was 14. Robin was already a peer of the most famous singers and songwriters in the world.

Her first efforts, recorded in the legendary Motown studios, established the start of her career and helped her make the personal decision to a life of and for the music. At 16 Robin left her hometown of Brooklyn, New York and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, and began to perform in well known clubs. After performing in a local jam session she joined a girl group. Her fame grew and she crisscrossed the U.S. and Canada touring. At the end of this time, Robin used her saved money to record a demo to present to record companies. Light and shadow, disappointment and hope followed. Very quickly it resulted in a signing to a major record company, in the next moment the marketing plans of the label were not aligning with her musical and creative potential.

Robin remained hopeful though and continued working for her chance - and was rewarded for that. She sang on a recording of Lenny Lehmann's ‚'Sweet Talk'. Although large commercial success still was elusive, she left a strong impression on the New York music scene with that release.. 'Sweet Talk' opened new doors and opportunities. Robin gained access to the advertising industry, when she sang the jingle for a very successful American soft drink. Coca Cola made Robin Beck the star of a commercial.

"That song was so good", remembers Robin, For Coca Cola, there wouldn't have been a better song." The combination of Coca-Cola and 'First Time' brought in the next recording contract. Robin suddenly the impression that anything could happen.

She had worked already with some of the best artists in the world, including David Bowie, Chaka Khan, Leo Sayer, Cher, Deep Purple, Michael Bolton, Patty Austin and many others. ‚'First Time' moved her into the middle of the worldwide spotlight. In the years after that, two album productions followed - 'Human Instinct' and 'Can't Get Off', but Robin couldn't top the paramount ‚'First Time' and the high expectations that followed. It was time for a breather from show business.

She wanted to establish a family and wanted to get a new perspective on life. Her daughter Olivia was born and she wanted to devote her time to being a mother.During this time Robin was not entirely out of the entertainment field however. At the side of the Italian star Pupo, she released the single "None university Dio" and toured in Italy and Germany.

Her 9 months old daughter Olivia was with her at this time as well.Robin received new offers from record companies, but didn't feel ready for the next, large step forward. Robin Beck has now signed a two year contract with the newly established label Reality Entertainment in California. The waiting was worthwhile: her new album "Wonderland', includes songs written by Andreas Carlsson and Desmond Child (Celine served, Bon Jovi, Britney Spears.) and shows Robin Beck is as vital as ever. Memorable, sensitive singing, embedded in an amazing production, shows the strength of Robin's unique voice. Wonderland is sure to please old and new fans alike.
